While in the midst of a European tour in support of her album Trip, Jhené Aiko checked in with Capital Xtra host Manny Norte and discussed her background, music writing process and using creativity to heal from relationships. She also shared plans to tour Asia in March.
In the conversation Jhene also weighed in on “Sativa,” a recent single featuring Rae Sremmurd. “The goal is to be the drug instead of consuming drugs,” said Aiko.
Aiko also visited with BBC1 host Dotty and shared details of her short-lived marriage and relationship with rapper Big Sean.
