Ask and ye shall receive as director Ava DuVernay discovered when she took a chance and asked British singer Sade Adu to contribute to the soundtrack for her film A Wrinkle in Time.
Despite having not recorded new music in eight years (her last single was “Solider of Love” in 2010), the soothing chanteuse said yes to the request and supplied the No I.D.-produced track “Flower of the Universe.”
