Nike’s M2K Tekno Aka ‘The Mom Shoe’ Is Chunky Sneaker Perfection

April 13, 2018. 4 Comments

With the dad shoe trend in full effect, Nike debuts the M2K Tekno, a shoe that very much speaks to the look. Poking fun at its own self, Nike built the model off of its all-time best-selling Air Monarch silhouette, beloved by barbecuing dads from coast to coast.

Adding on to the already very built up Monarch silhouettes, Nike added even more layers to the M2K and shouted out the style lovers with a pop of color at the heel. As a further reminder of its fashion credentials, the shoe made its debut on John Elliott’s fall 2018 runway.

What can very well be seen as Nike’s answer to Fila’s much loved Disruptor, the M2K  is priced at $100 and will hit retail on May 5, 2018. The shoe is sized for men and women though the women’s silhouette will launch first.

Check out additional details below.
