Nike and Off-White have established a drop date for their Converse Chuck Taylor silhouette. The shoe was originally supposed to launch in 2017 along with the other nine shoes that made up “The Ten” capsule. However, there were some issue relate to production that help up the Chucks and they’ve been stalled until now.
The Ten were divided into two capsule of fives shoes each and the Chuck was included in the Ghosting collection. The shoe is marked by a partially translucent upper and outsole with the word “vulcanized” stamped along the top of the outsole.
While all of the shoes in this collaboration are beautiful, it’s starting to feel like Nike just wants to milk every Off-White launch to the hilt, using the their coveted status to drive as many SNKRS sign ups as possible.
And while you know the boutiques who receive allocation of these shoes are glad to be designated as worthy enough, you can be sure they find the insanity around the raffle process irritating in part because it inevitably leads to bunches of upset customers who once again couldn’t procure a shoe.
This Converse x Off-White shoe will be sold by Nike plus select retailers globally. We will update with the info when it comes available.
