Dallas-born and Los Angeles-based rapper Cuban Doll aka “Cuban Da Savage” releases a visual for “Bankrupt,” a remix that features Atlanta rappers Lil Yachty and Lil Baby.
Directed by Sara Lacombe, the action takes places in a supermarket where Cuban Doll and her crew get some shopping in, chopping it up with the normals. Enter Lil Yachty, playing the role of the butcher at the meat counter.
Her strongest single to date, “Bankrupt” was included on her mixtape “Aaliyah Keef,” dropped in December 2017.
Cuban Doll is working through a tumultuous month in which she admitted she had been beaten by her boyfriend, Tadoe, who attacked her for speaking to his rival, Tekashi69.
Following the reveal, she enjoyed her first performance at Rolling Loud in Miami on May 12, 2018, sharing a bill headlined by Travis Scott, Migos and Wiz Khalifa.
