Pusha-T Responds To Drake Diss Track With ‘The Story Of Adidon’

G.O.O.D. music rapper Pusha T tonight responded to Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle” diss track with “The Story of Adidon,” a hard-hitting track pulling its sample from Jay-Z’s 4:44 single “O.J.” Drake’s single was a response to Pusha T who came for him in “Infrared” from his album, Daytona.

Without doubt Pusha’s hardest point of attack was calling out Drake for abandoning a child he had with Sophie Brussaux, a sex worker who allegedly lives in Paris with her son, Adonis. Brusseaux’s Instagram account is private and on Twitter, she has one tweet that reads, “Fuck Drake. Deadbeat ass dad.”

The title of Pusha’s track, “Adidon,” is said to be the name of Drake’s rumored collaboration with Adidas, which hasn’t been officially announced yet. The title may also be a reference to Drake’s son, Adonis,” as combined with the word Adidas.

He also came for OVO producer and Drake’s longtime friend, Noah Shebib, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005. In a line addressing his declining health, Pusha spit, “OVO 40, hunched over like he 80, tick, tick, tick; How much time he got? That man is sick, sick, sick.”

Underscoring Drake’s issues with his identity, Pusha used a 2008 David Leyes photograph of Drake posing in black face. On Twitter, there are screen captures of Leyes saying the images were Drake’s idea.

Part of his debut collection with the retailer, the men's "giant fit" chino priced at 89.50 is 100% sold out! Relecting the popularity of the silhouette, the women's wide-leg pleated cargo is also sold out.

With wider fits and chino swinging back into popularity, we can't help but wonder what sneakers and shoes will be coming along for the ride. Any nominations?

The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her care The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her career as a professional tennis player in the September issue of American Vogue.

In the cover story, which is a must read, Williams shares some thoughts on her evolution away from tennis and says,"Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair. If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family. Maybe I’d be more of a Tom Brady if I had that opportunity. Don’t get me wrong: I love being a woman, and I loved every second of being pregnant with Olympia. I was one of those annoying women who adored being pregnant and was working until the day I had to report to the hospital—although things got super complicated on the other side. And I almost did do the impossible: A lot of people don’t realize that I was two months pregnant when I won the Australian Open in 2017."

The cover editorial was styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who in 2020 became the first black woman to style a U.S. Vogue cover.

This cover was also one of the last projects hairstylist #LatishaChong worked on before she sadly passed away in July this year.
