Nicki Minaj joined forces with Saturday Night Live’s female cast members for the “Friendship Song,” a skit paying tribute to Haim and unconditional loyalty among women.
Sporting long brown wigs a la Haim sisters Este, Danielle and Alana, cast members Tina Fey, Aidy Bryant and Kate McKinnon are shot hanging out in a club where they perform in between providing over-the-top levels of support for each other in response to minor slights.
Minaj makes her entrance at 2:26 when she launches into a flow immediately expressing loyalty without question: “I’ll rip up her life, yo, get the knife ’cause you low-key my wife, you my bitch for life!”
Haim responded with amusement to the tribute on Twitter.
