Rihanna has long been celebrated for her bon vivant approach to taking her unfinished glasses of wine with her when she leaves restaurants and events. However, her predilection for pilfering wine glasses was turned on its head when she recently paid a visit to “The Graham Norton Show” to promote Ocean’s 8, a film in which she plays the role of a skilled computer hacker.
In a segment that included her co-stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson and Helena Bonham Carter, Norton describes Rihanna as “criminal” and hilariously roasts her as he flips through a rapid-fire series of images showing her leaving events with wine glasses in hand.
In a second segment about the Met Gala, Rihanna explained how she managed to get to the event in 2015, the year she wore a yellow Guo Pei gown, which featured a famously dramatic train, often referred to as an omelette. In the exchange she revealed it took six people to help her navigate the red carpet.
In a final segment, Bonham reveals she’s never been to the Met Gala and gets shaded by Rihanna, who lets her know her outfit choices are to blame.
