New York-based Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue have announced the ten finalists of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund for 2018. Finalists were chosen by a panel of judges including Anna Wintour, Diane von Furstenberg, Steven Kolb, Andrew Rosen, Mark Holgate, Nicole Phelps, Roopal Patel, Jeffrey Kalinsky, Eva Chen and Joseph Altuzarra.
The label and design leads are as follows:
Batsheva: Batsheva Hay
Bode: Emily Adams Bode
Christian Cowan: Christian Cowan
Hunting Season: Danielle Corona
Jonathan Cohen: Jonathan Cohen and Sarah Leff
Luar: Raul Lopez
Matthew Adams Dolan: Matthew Adams Dolan
Pyer Moss: Kerby Jean-Raymond
Rebecca de Ravenel: Rebecca de Ravenel
Scosha: Scosha Woolridge
The ten finalists will go through a series of reviews in the coming months and a winner and two runners up will be selected at a November 5, 2018, fashion show in New York. The winner will be awarded $400,000 while runners up will take home $150,000 each. All winners will be mentored by CFDA designers and fashion executives for a year.
