Detroit rapper Dej Loaf made her first appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards where she wore an avante garde look designed by Mexican designer Maria Escoté. The white, ruffled-adorned tracksuit with pearl trim was a finale bridal look shown as part of Escote’s spring 2018 presentation.
Def was styled by iCON Billingsley, who paired the tracksuit with Prada flame sandals. The look was capped by a dramatic platinum updo, styled by Kellon Deryck.
Dej was in attendance for her “Liberated” visual, which was nominated for the VMA video with a message award. The category included Childish Gambino for his “This Is America” video, which took home the award.
