New York-based fashion platform VFiles today (August 9, 2018) announced the four designers selected to present their collections during New York Fashion Week in September. The labels are Elena Velez, Shuting Qiu, Windowsen and Marrknull.
The designers’ efforts will be mentored by Julie Anne Quay, founder and chief executive officer of VFiles; InStyle editor-in-chief Laura Brown; designer Dapper Dan aka Daniel Day; Gypsy Sport designer Rio Uribe; fashion consultant Candy Pratts Price; stylist Anna Trevelyan; MadeMe designer Erin Magee; designer Paul Cupo and VFiles merchandise director James Costas-Michael.
The runway event will take place on September 5, 2018 at 8:00 PM EST at the Barclay’s Center.

Elena Velez is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a recent graduate of Parsons School of Design where her focus is fashion design and creative entrepreneurship.
Shuting Qiu is from Antwerp, Belgium. She’s a graduate of Antwerp Fashion Department.
Windowsen as led by Sensen Lii is an Antwerp, Belgium-based unisex label. Li is a graduate of Antwerp Fashion Department.
Marrknull is a Beijing womenwear brand founded by Wang Wei and Tim Shi in 2016.
