The war between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj is out in the open and official. Last night (September 7, 2018) at a New York Fashion Week event hosted by Harper’s Bazaar where both rappers were in attendance, Cardi attempted to approach Minaj’s table to confront her about ongoing issues (which she later detailed in an Instagram post).
Dressed to kill in a blood red couture dress by Dolce & Gabbana, Cardi approached Minaj’s table but ended up in a shoving match with Minaj-ally Rah Ali instead. While being held by security, Cardi repeatedly shouted, “Play with me bitch!”
Before she was removed from the event, Cardi managed to slip off one of her sky-high red shoes and pitch it at Minaj though it missed its target. As she left the room, she repeatedly shouted, “Let them speak on my daughter again!”
Images of Cardi shot as she left the event with her stylist Kollin Carter show a big knot over her left eye. According to witnesses, she took an elbow to the head while scuffling with security.
Following the event, Minaj, wearing a tiger print Alexandre Vauthier gown, made a point of showing herself unbothered, posting images of herself in an elevator and on the street outside the event.
