Farmland might be a countrified brand but that doesn’t mean the giant agricultural company lacks a sense of humor. This all started on August 24, 2018 when the brand responded to Supreme’s use of its logo graphic on a fall 2018 baseball cap with a friendly tweet.
Hey #Supreme, that logo looks super familiar. We missed the drop – what do you think about sending a few our way? #FARMLANDxSUPREME pic.twitter.com/zq0uIL6exA

Farmland followed up this week by launching an Instagram page, which it populated with lookbook images featuring “real farmers” decked out in Supreme clothing.
In a tweet announcing the event, the brand wrote, “Give us a heads up next time you’re ready for a collab, #Supreme. We’ve got the perfect models. #FARMLANDxSUPREME #Farmland”
The captions for the images were equally lighthearted and included “Since we missed the first Supreme drop, we went ahead and had a photoshoot of our own. And we found the perfect models,” “the Fall/Winter collection: for looks as crispy as our bacon,” “Farmland Est. 1959,” “We’re ready for a collab, @supremenewyork,”
Created by Farmland’s ad agency, Doner, the effort at the very least has raised the company’s profile. The original tweet is now at 13,000 likes versus the typical 10 interactions Farmland’s tweets receive.
Now we just need Farmland to follow up with its own merch line, including a box-logo t-shirt.
