Nike today (September 5, 2018) followed up its much-discussed Colin Kaepernick “Just Do It” visual with a two-minute video titled “Dream Crazy,” narrated by Kaepernick. Created by Portland-based Wieden + Kennedy ad agency, the video closes with Kapernick stating, “Don’t ask if your dreams are crazy. Ask if they’re crazy enough.”
The video features a montage of youthful, amateur and professional athletes, all of whom have either overcome incredible challenges or achieved noteworthy professional success.
In addition to tennis player Serena Williams, NBA player LeBron James and NFL players Odell Beckham Jr. and Shaquem Griffin, the clip also shows skateboarder Lacey Baker, legless wrestler Isaiah Bird, marathoner Eliud Kipchoge, boxer Zeina Nassar and wheelchair basketball player Megan Blunk
According to ESPN, the ad will debut during the NFL’s season opening event featuring the Atlanta Falcons versus the Philadelphia Eagles, a game that will kick off at 8:30 PM EST on September 6th.
