Burberry has previewed a holiday campaign titled “Close Your Eyes and Think of Christmas” featuring musical creative M.I.A. In the preview, M.I.A. sports an up ‘do and stares pensively at the camera while fiddling with a handful of rings. The short was directed by Juno Calypso, a London-based photographer.
In addition to M.I.A., participants include British actors Matt Smith and Kristin Scott Thomas, plus Naomi Campbell and her mother, Valerie Morris.
The effort was overseen by the label’s new head creative, Riccardo Tisci, who has brought the brand not only the power of his skill as a designer but also his global circle of powerful creative friends and associates.
The full campaign will launch on November 13, 2018.
