Philly rapper Meek Mill has revealed the 19-song track list for his album titled Championships, and it includes three women: Cardi B, Ella Mai and Melii. The album will drop sometime this evening (November 29, 2018).
Cardi’s “On Me” is said to include some swipes at Nicki Minaj, who Mill broke up with in early 2017 after two years of dating. In a nice co-sign form the Carter family, Mill’s song with Mai titled “24/7” will sample Beyoncé’s 2003 “Me, Myself and I” single.
The appearance of Drake on “Going Bad” further cements the end of a long-standing beef which came to an end when the two rappers appeared on stage together during a Drake concert stop in Boston in September 2018. In an interview with Vulture, Mill said the two had been talking well before the reunion. Mill explained, “Me and Drake have actually been communicating for the last year. Even before I went to prison. It was based on the right time. We ain’t have nothing going on but a rap beef, we didn’t cause harm to each other.”
The feature-packed album also includes Fabolous, Anuel, Rick, Ross, Jay-Z, Future, Roddy Rich, Young Thug, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Jeremih, PNB Rock.
