The always female-friendly Reebok announced Cardi B is now an official member of its brand ambassador team. The piping hot Bronx rapper will kick off the relationship with campaigns supporting the Aztreck silhouette, first introduced in 1993 as a running shoe. She will also put her co-sign on a capsule of coordinated apparel.
Women account for about 40 percent of Reebok’s sales and the brand has worked with a line up of women reflecting its popularity with the female customers. Cardi will join a roster that includes recent campaigns featuring Gigi Hadid, Ariana Grande, Jasmine Sanders and Saweetie among others.
In the midst of her social media dust up with Nicki Minaj last month, Cardi hinted at the Reebok effort when she bragged she would be announcing more sponsorship on top of her effort with Fashion Nova.
The shoes Cardi is wearing in her announcement image are priced at $100 and are now available on reebok.com.
