Atlanta rapper/singer Young Baby Tate née Tate Farris today (January 29, 2019) dropped “GIRLS,” a 4.5-minute short that sets up the vibes for her upcoming album of the same name. Tapping into the costume and choreography themes of HBIC dance squads, the Christian Cody-directed visual includes appearances by Kim Johnasson, Anycia Symone, Brenae Knights, Adejola Calhoun, Taylor Rowland, Chanee Winner, Raquel Clark, Faith Hobbs and Firdaus Muna.
Following the GIRLS short, Tate released “Wild Girl,” a self-produced and written track featuring Tennessee rapper BbyMutha.
In addition to GIRLS to dropping girls on February 5th, Tate is slated to open for rapper Leikeli47’s 26-city tour, which kicks off in Kansas City on March 19th.
