Calvin Klein Signals New Campaign Direction With ASAP And Kendall Ad

Calvin Klein goes back to its youth-oriented, sexy roots with a #MyCalvins campaign for spring photographed by Glen Luchford. The campaign stars a shirtless A$AP Rocky and Shawn Mendes, plus models Kendall Jenner, Anna Ewers, Noah Centineo and Lulu Tenney all of whom are shot in what is made to look like their home environments.

The effort is a clear departure from the brand’s more artful direction under the stewardship of designer Raf Simons, who parted ways with the PVH Corp.-owned brand over creative and fiscal differences in December 2018. Calvin Klein not only cut ties with Simons, but also chose not to go forward with Simons’ go-to photographer Willy Vanderperre.
