Grammy-nominated songwriter/rapper Raja Kumari today (February 13, 2018) dropped “KARMA,” a hard-hitting single produced by Sean Garrett that brings to the forefront the East Asian-rooted beats that inform Kumari’s identity and sound.
The single precedes the Epic Records signee’s upcoming album, Bloodline, due out on February 22nd. 2019. In press about the album, Kumari née Svetha Rao asks, “Who are you?” It’s not just about your family line or your heritage. Who are you? What runs through your veins and what are you willing to fight for? This collection of songs was inspired my time in India. I found strength in the Motherland, and these battle anthems are my story, my bloodline.”
