Solange has dropped “Texas Film,” a 33-minute visual that accompanies her “When I Get Home” album, released on March 1, 2019. Currently, the Solange and Alan Ferguson-directed video is only available to Apple subscribers, but the “Binz” segment has been widely reposted. Understandably so because it’s a delightful medley of intimate-feeling, self-recorded videos showing Solange dancing, lighting candles, smoking blunts, twerking and smiling in front of her computer in an array of outfits and settings.
The fashion-filled segment provides a peak inside Solange’s wardrobe with a look at approximately 15 different outfits that include a cut-out white bodysuit, snakeskin two-piece set, full glitter bodysuit, white crop top and high-waist bell-bottom jeans, black lace cut-out bra and many more looks reflecting the singer’s distinct artfully cool look.
“Texas Film” was styled by Kyle Luu. Designers featured throughout the video include Thierry Mugler, Telfar, Gareth Pugh, Jennifer Fisher, Lace by Tanaya, Eric Javits, Helmut Lang, Creepyyeha, Esmay Wagemans and Peterdo, among others.
The album art was shot by Max Hirschberger. Solo’s hair was styled by Kendall Dorsey with makeup by Dana Delaney.
