G.O.O.D. Music signee Teyana Taylor recently visited with with “Pull Up” show host Joe Budden where she let it be known she’s working on a new album, which is about halfway finished.
Taylor also provided her view on the controversial roll out of her album KTSE, a Kanye-West-produced project that dropped in June 2019.
The 28-year-old Harlemite explained while she loved the songs, she had an issue with the length of the project. Taylor said, “Cool seven songs, but at least if it’s going to be seven songs, then make it like three minutes and ten seconds per song. Seven songs and each song is like a minute and 30 seconds? Yea, that’s an issue for me.” She also noted she didn’t hear the album before it dropped.
She added she’s very focused on building up her director chops, which we saw in action with her self-directed video for “Issues/Hold On.”
As always, Taylor also spoke about the importance of her husband, Iman Shumpert, and Junie, their three-year-old daughter.
