Following news Beyoncé had signed on as a partner with Adidas, there were hints she celebrated the event with a party at Coachella during weekend one, and now additional images have emerged confirming the event.
As it turns out, the party took place to celebrate both her Adidas partnership plus the release of her “Homecoming” Netflix video and 40-song album. Guests included members of Grambling State University marching band members, who attended the wearing their performance costumes as paired with Adidas Superstar sneakers.
Beyoncé attended the event in a custom cropped jacket and skirt detailed with Adidas and Ivy Park logos. However, rather than a preview of what’s to come from Adidas and Ivy park, the piece was custom designed by Bronx-based designer Jerome LaMaar, who worked with stylist Zerina Akers and designer Brea Stinson to create the look.
