It’s hard to believe that just three years ago we were calling for the death of the Bohemian style themes that have dominated Coachella, well, since it began in 1999. Over the past few years flowers and fringe have been swapped out for joggers, cycling shorts, bra tops and sneakers. Or as Luka Sabbat summed up on Twitter, “I’ve never seen more iamgia pants in one place than right now. Coachella is a madness.”
That said, a handful of BoHo champions remain, namely Vanessa Hudgins and Selena Gomez, whose gauzy, cotton-themed looks in 2019 stands out as unique in a sea of nylon.
