Converse has announced plans for a high-fashion-flavored capsule, made in partnership with a trio of European female designers, who lead Koché, Feng Chen Wang and Faith Connexion.
Located in Paris, Koché designer Christelle Kocher, who’s known for her embellishment skills (she’s the artistic director of the Parisian Métiers d’Art feather and floral embroidery house, Lemarié), created a capsule making reference to patchwork themes. Converse x Koché items include a polo shirt, track jacket and track pant plus three silhouettes: Rina, Mary Jane and Jack Purcell
Chinese-born, London-based menswear designer Feng Chen Wang was a 2016 LVMH nominee and is a 2015 graduate of London’s prestigious
Royal College of Art. Wang’s collaborative items include a tracksuit, windbreaker, and hoodie.
Paris-based design collective Faith Connexion as led by Maria Buccellati created a street-infused camo collection and also provided fresh versions of Converse’s Run Star, One Star Mid and One Star Ox silhouette.
Converse’s collections with Koché, Feng Chen Wang and Faith Connexion will be available on April 26, 2019 on converse.com.
