Nike launched the cleverest of sandals last year, a Benaassi slide fitted with a nylon fanny pack with a zipper opening. Capable of carrying everyday essentials like a set of keys and a bank card, last summer the cute and clever silhouette quickly sold out every time it hit retail.
With spring weather finally hitting, Nike has restocked the sandal, starting the season off with a white colorway (style code: CJ0604-100). The white shoe features a white nylon fanny pack that’s stamped with a blue Nike and Swoosh logo and has a topaz gold-colored lining. In a 2019 update, the sandal’s outsole is stamped with the words, “what a ride!”
Priced at $50, Nike’s fanny pack slide is now available in men’s sizing at nike.com. If white is not your color, there are still some sizes of last year’s pink and black colors on footlocker.com.
