Taylor Swift early this morning (April 25, 2019) dropped a single and video for “ME!” featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco.
The video opens with a slithering snake which explodes into a
kaleidoscope of butterflies, symbolizing the end of an era that began with the release of her Reputation album in 2017.
While “ME!” is positioned as a new phase for Swift, in many ways it’s a return to the 29-year-old pop star’s signature sound mixing angst and anthem.
“ME!” is the lead single from her upcoming, seventh studio album, which as of now doesn’t have a drop date.
