Designer Tom Sachs was spotted in Tokyo last night (April 19, 2019) where he celebrating opening night for his “Tea Ceremony” exhibition.
At the event, the artist/designer was photographed wearing a pair of bright yellow Nike‘s Solar Soft HTM shoe. First debuted in 2010, the rubber shoe is a re-conceptualized version of Nike’s Solar Soft sneaker as designed by the brand’s all-star HTM collective comprised of Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker.
Sachs didn’t state whether the shoe would be his next NikeCraft shoe, a platform through which the 51-year-old Sachs and Nike have released three silhouettes, the Mars Yard, Mars Yard 2.0 and Mars Yard Overshoe.
