Off-White designer Virgil Abloh has previewed looks from his upcoming “Athletes in Progress” apparel collaboration with Nike. The blue performance top and bottom were modeled by South African Olympian Caster Semenya, who has been in the news because of a controversial decision by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) to ban her from certain track competitions unless she take testosterone-lowering medications.
Previewed items include a stretch long-sleeve top and leggings. Detailed with tone-on-tone color blocking, the front and back of the top include dual Off-White and Nike branding while the band on the leggings is detailed with a repeat Off-White logo.
The collection includes the Zoom Terra Kiger 5, offered in three different colorways. Priced at $180, all three shoes are dropping on June 27, 2019.
As of now, there isn’t any official information on the apparel launch.
