Beyoncé Attends Wearable Art Gala in Custom Georges Hobeika

Beyoncé and her adorable seven-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, last night (June 1, 2019) attended Tina Knowles Lawson‘s third annual Wearble Art Gala fundraiser in Santa Monica, California where guests where encouraged to dress according to the event’s “A Journey to the Pride Lands” theme.

The theme synced up nicely with Beyoncé ‘s upcoming role in the remake of The Lion King, in which she plays the role of lioness Nala as an adult.

Beyoncé wore a caped catsuit custom designed by Georges Hobeika, who created a piece centered with the face of a lion whose main was made of feathers.

Additional guests include Beyoncé’s husband Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, along with Tyler Perry, Saweetie, Melina Matsoukas, Chloe x Halle, Tiffany Haddish, Lena Waithe, Star Jones, Daniel Kaluuya, Steve Harvey and Marjorie Elaine Harvey, Magic and Cookie Johnson and Marsai Martin among others.

Check out some of the gownery below.
