City Girls member Yung Miami, whose real names is Caresha Browlee, today confirmed rumors that she’s pregnant. The 25-year-old rapper revealed the news on Instagram with a clip from an upcoming City Girls documentary titled “Point Blank Period 2.” She reveals the news in a tear-filled phone conversation with her manager, Quality Control co-founder Pierre “Pee” Thomas.
In a second post showing her pregnancy, Yung implied the pregnancy wouldn’t stop her from performing. She wrote, “Everybody doubted me and said I shouldn’t be rapping and that I wouldn’t be able to hold the group down while JT was away but I did just that and then some, to the point that you all have made this experience as an rapper so fulfilling that I cannot wait to show more of what I really have in store for my fans.”
While Yung hasn’t announced who the father is, since December 2018 she’s been dating Southside, a 30-year-old producer whose real name is Joshua Howard Luellen. Yung already has a son while Southside has five children from previous relationships.
The other half of the City Girls, JT, real name Jatavia Johnson, is serving out a sentence for a fraud-related charge in a Tallahassee prison and is not scheduled to be released until March 2020.
