Kim Kardashian Wears Thierry Mugler For First Vogue Arabia Cover

Kanye-West-Interviews-Kim-Kardashian-West-For-First-Vogue-Arabia-Cover

Beauty mogul and mother-of-four Kim Kardashian lands Vogue Arabia‘s September ’19 issue, a feature styled by Manfred Thierry Mugler and photographed by Txema Yeste in the Los Angeles desert.

An established super fan of Thierry Mugler, Kardashian wore both archival pieces as well as three looks by Casey Cadwallader for Thierry Mugler. (Music fans will recognize the white fringe dress Kardashian wears as the same one Cardi B wore to the 2019 Grammy Awards.)

Adding a twist to the effort, Kardashian is interviewed for the feature by Kanye West, her husband of five years. Reflecting on their first date together, Kardashian explained, “I was like, ‘Damn, why did I waste so much time and energy? Why didn’t I do this sooner?'”

Addressing criticisms of her law school-free path to becoming a lawyer, she explained, “There is a misconception that I don’t actually have to study and that I’ve bought my way into getting a law degree. That’s absolutely not true. Being underestimated and over-delivering is my vibe.”

On how she ranks her passion for money versus fame, Kardashian admitted, “Money was always the goal but I was obsessed with fame, like, embarrassingly obsessed. I do agree that fame can be addictive.”

The full exchange between Kardashian and West will be featured in Vogue Arabia‘s print edition.

Retailer Atmos, owned by Foot Locker will be ceasi Retailer Atmos, owned by Foot Locker will be ceasing operations in North America. The website and retail locations will be shutting down to further focus on Japan in Asia.

In press about the announcement Atmos SVP and GM Patrick Walsh says,"The Atmos brand has a unique and authentic identity, character and spirit. Given the strength of Atmos in Japan and Asia, we are focused on further investing in this market. Though in line with this focus and our plans for simplification, we have made the strategic decision to close our three Atmos stores in North America and our Atmos U.S. website. We are confident that this is the right move for Atmos and will help us continue to work in service of bringing sneaker and street culture to our customers in Asia.”

The Atmos women's store in Philadelphia opened in October 2022!!
Today, Kering announced the appointment of Dublin, Today, Kering announced the appointment of Dublin, Ireland-born designer Sean McGirr as the new creative director of Alexander McQueen after the departure of Sarah Burton.

A graduate of London’s prestigious Central Saint Martins fashion school, he embarked on his career as an assistant at Burberry and Vogue Hommes Japan before becoming part of the creative team at Uniqlo. Prior to his tenure at JW Anderson, McGirr served as the womenswear designer at the renowned Belgian fashion brand, Dries Van Noten.

With the appointment of McGuirr Kering no longer has any woman creative director for its fashion brands. The visual on the slide.

A new #Gucci luggage campaign under Sabato de Sarn A new #Gucci luggage campaign under Sabato de Sarno's creative direction starring Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny, was unveiled this weekend.

To give context to the campaign, a portion of the press release reads,"Shot in an airport, the meeting place where journeys begin, the campaign explores the intimacy of traveling together through the creative lens of Anthony Seklaoui. Stills capture the fleeting spirit of Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny's airport stroll, redefining the Jet Set glamour of the 1990s."

Does this campaign count as a relationship hard launch?

Sarah Burton presented her last collection as Alex Sarah Burton presented her last collection as Alexander McQueen's creative director during Paris Fashion Week this Saturday. Naomi campbell closed the show in a stunning silver dress!

Burton's tenure as creative director for Alexander McQueen has been remarkable, spanning an impressive 26 years. Her ability to maintain the brand's distinctive blend of beauty and edge is noteworthy.

Burton became creative director in 2010 after the tragic loss of Lee Alexander McQueen. As the only female creative director in Kering's fashion portfolio, her contributions have been significant, and her departure, in our opinion leaves a big gap in a house with a very deep and unique brand dna.

Any thoughts on who will be the next McQueen creative director?
