Havana, Cuba-born Camila Cabello followed up with a teaser for her sophomore album with a visual for a single titled “Shameless.” The single examines the roller coaster ride of falling deeply in love, an ongoing theme for Cabello’s sophomore album titled Romance.
Along with the video, Cabello also dropped an audio for a horn-themed single titled “Liar.” Both singles represent her first solo music drops since 2018.
In a statement, Cabello explained, “These songs are basically the story of my life the past couple years and the stories I’ve accumulated. I knew for a long time I wanted my album to be called Romance because these stories are about falling in love.”
Among Cabello devotees, the album is seen as a soundtrack of sorts for her relationship with Shawn Mendes, who she’s been dating since sometime in 2017.
