KAWS Previews New Gone Companions For Upcoming Melbourne Exhibit

Brooklyn-based artist KAWS (real name Brian Donnelly) is gearing up for for an upcoming exhibit titled “Companionship in the Age of Loneliness” at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. Thus far, KAWS has revealed two color versions of a dual Gone Companion sculpture, which will be featured in the exhibit.

The event will include new, KAWS-designed merchandise, which will sold at the museum’s NGV Design Store. KAWS has previewed a pink and grey

The Melbourne exhibit opens on September 20, 2019 and runs through April 20th. KAWS merchandise for the exhibit will go live in store and online on September 20, 2019 at at 10:00 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time.
