Princess Nokia Dismantles The Throne In ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea’ Visual

New York’s own Princess Nokia (real name Destiny Frasqueri) steps back into the realm of music with a visual for “Sugar Honey Iced Tea (S.H.I.T.), her first new music since her mixtape “A Girl Cried Red” in 2018.

Directed by Emma Westerberg, the video taps into the over-the-top visuals of the pageant world that includes a cameo by fellow New York rapper Maliibu Miitch. In the visual, Nokia dismantles the beauty standards underpinning the “Miss S.H.I.T. 2020” pageant and creates an unexpected outcome for the contest.
