Rihanna’s second Fenty x Savage runway presentation takes place tonight (September 10, 2019) in New York, and it sounds like it’s going to be wildly entertaining affair. That said, event planners are doing everything in their power to ensure that only attendees witness the action.
According to WWD, the label has instituted a no photos policy in advance of the event being streamed on Amazon Prime on September 20, 2019. In an effort to block leaked images, attendees’ cell phones will be placed into a locked case that show goers can hold onto during the show.
Show producers are allowing a handful of photographers to shoot the red carpet, but no official photographers or videographers will be allowed inside the venue. A grand total of three images will be released to be media following the show.

Kanye West issued a similar no-photos policy for a 2017 Yeezy presentation with mixed results. We imagine for Fenty x Savage the results will be similar. While most will comply by the rules, a few images are sure to leak out.
