Rumors have surfaced that Adidas and Prada are working on a two-shoe collaborative effort. According to generally accurate Twitter account @pyleaks, the capsule will include a shoe called the Adidas Prada Sailing, in two different colors offered in some combination of white, silver and red.
The sailing theme makes sense for Prada which is very active in the world of competitive sailing, having become the main sponsor of America’s Cup in 2017.
At the same time, Adidas loves a good designer collaboration and boasts a roster that includes collaborate efforts with Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney, among others.
As of now, neither brand has confirmed the effort.
