Harlemite Azealia Banks today (October 27, 2019) posted her list of top 25 singles by women during 2010-2020. The list was topped by Robyn‘s 2010 single “Dancing on My Own,” followed by Bank’s own 2014 single, “212” in the No. 2 spot.
Banks’ selected Cardi B‘s smash single “Bodak Yellow for the No. 3 position, followed by Icona Pop‘s “I Don’t Care” and Willow Smith‘s “Star.” Beyoncé is the only artist with two songs on the chart with “End of Time” and “Countdown” listed as Nos. 7 and 8.
The 28-year-old Banks has traded shots with and/or criticized multiple artists on the list including Cardi, Lady Gaga, Lana del Rey, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.
However, while Banks has accused some on the list from stealing from her (specifically Gaga and Swift), in general her critiques are more based on their public images and messaging rather than their music.
