Nike continues its cozy relationship with Seattle-based Nordstrom with news of a shoe and apparel capsule made in collaboration with Olivia Kim, head of creative projects for the department store chain.
Titled “No Cover,” offerings take inspiration from New York’s ’90s-era colorful dancehall, hip-hop and techno club scene, known as a golden age for fashion expression. The collection is accompanied by a lookbook featuring featuring professional soccer player Megan Rapinoe, director John Waters and model Binx Walton.
Footwear offerings include five silhouettes sized for women: Air Force 1 Low ($120), Air Jordan IV ($190), Air Mowabb ($190), Air Footscape ($150) and Air Max 98 ($190).
The capsule will also include sixteen pieces of apparel ranging from t-shirts to flip dresses as well as accessories.
Nike and Nordstrom’s Olivia Kim’s collection will launch at Nordstrom’s new women’s location at 225 West 57th in Manhattan on October 31, 2019, along with the chain’s Chicago, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver locations and nordstrom.com. Offerings will also launch on Nike’s SNKRS app starting November 8th at 10:00 AM EST.
