Grammy-award winning rapper Cardi B (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) took on Vogue‘s “73 Questions” series with an episode that took place in her grandmother’s apartment in the Bronx, a location the 27-rapper fondly described as “always packed with family so it’s always distracting me from the chaos of the world and work.”

Cardi opened the interview holding her one-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, who managed to stay napping for the entire video. When asked what she wishes for her child, Cardi explained, “I wish for her to be a successful businesswoman, independent woman, confident woman.”

Known for her love of fashion, Cardi mentioned Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Missy Elliott as people who’ve help inspire her look.

While Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) wasn’t present for the interview, Cardi checked in with him via video chat. When asked to list her worst habit, Offset without hesitation said, “The worst habit she got is being on her phone for 35,000 hours every single day.” As for best habit, Offset was quick to note her awesomeness as a mother.

Often outspoken on political topics, Cardi said if she had a chance she would ask Donald Trump, “If you don’t love every American citizen, why become president?” On her political fave, Bernie Sanders, she said, “He’s a natural humanitarian.”

When we raised the idea of having a marching band, we wanted the energy, spirit, and sound.I really wanted to reach out and see if there was any possibility that we could make it happen. I am glad that we did.”
