Colombian reggaeton singer Karol G (real name Carolina Giraldo Navarro) has linked with Nicki Minaj on “Tusa,” a new single dropped along with a visual directed by Mike Ho.
Song lyrics reference a lost love as anchored by the song’s title “Tusa,” Colombian slang that speaks to a feeling of despondency after a break up.
On working with Minaj, the 28-year-old Karol G told Billboard, “I still can’t believe it, in her verse, she says: ‘It’s me and Karol G, and we let the rats talk.’ I died, I revived, I died and revived again until I understood Nicki Minaj had said my name in her verse.”
