New York-based Tiffany touches on the percolating trend of pearl jewelry with a new capsule that’s part of its HardWear offerings, a grouping described as a “luxurious mix of subversive sophistication inspired by the edge of New York City.”
While the edgier take on the classic pearl is new for Tiffany, using the spherical stone to make an edgier jewelry statement has been percolating for a few seasons with New York-based Bijules designer Jules Kim first experimenting with the pearl as part of a nose bridge featured in a 2017 presentation.
Ranging in price from $150 for a silver ball ring up to $14,700 for a necklace, the collection is now available at tiffany.com.
Tiffany ended 2019 with a bang with news it had been acquired by LVMH, a multi-billion-dollar deal you can read about here.
