January 31, 2020. 1 Comment

Los Angeles jeweler Ben Baller (real name Ben Yang) reveals his first piece of 2020, a stunning chain and pendant made in collaboration with Takashi Murakami in celebration of Kid Cudi‘s 36st birthday on January 30th.

Featured gems in the pink sparkler include diamond, pink sapphire and ruby stones, set in an 18K gold chain. The chain is filled with Murakami’s signature skulls and flowers, each of which can be spun, while the pink and gold pendant is fashioned after his Kiki character.

According to Ben, the piece took over a year to construct. Not surprisingly, Cudi aka Scott Mescudi was thrilled with the gift. On Instagram, he wrote, “@benballer  made me a fuckin masterpiece for my birthday!!! The illest jeweler alive!!! Art level shit! Official @takashipom artwork approved by the man himself. Ki Ki shinin!!!”

Check out the unique creation below.
