Designer Virgil Abloh‘s continues his relationship with Nike through a pivot to team Jordan. Following up on the Jordan 5 he created as of a series of of NBA All Star launches, the designer is creating a stir with a creamy white shoe shown on Off-White’s fall 2020 runway in Paris.
While the shoe had its coming out party on the Off-White runway, the sneaker was included as prototype in Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibit in Chicago and Atlanta.
Executed in a sail colorway, the shoe features a tonal nubuck upper plus all the signature Off-White details sneaker fans have come to love including shoelaces detailed with”SHOELACES” plus a cream-colored zip tie threaded through the laces.
In an endless stream of sneaker drops, Jordan and Off-White’s Retro 5 shoe is shaping up to be a significant one and will likely lead to a lot of broken hearts and high resale prices on launch day.
Priced at $200 and offered in women’s sizes, you can anticipate this shoe will drop sometime in June 2020.
