Two Frank Ocean singles, titled “Dear April” and the Spanish language “Cayendo” have begun to make their way online as the people who ordered them in the form of a seven-inch vinyl single last fall finally have begun to receive them.
Each of the two songs is offered in “acoustic” on the “A” side and “remix” on the “B” side. French duo Justice remixed “Dear April” while Seattle, Washington-based producer Sángo remixed “Cayendo.”
Ocean first previewed the songs at his “PrEP” dance event in Knockdown Center Queens in October of 2019. Subsequently, he made them available to order through his on line store, blonded.co where they’ve long since sold out.
In addition to the aforementioned singles, Ocean also sold seven-inch vinyl versions of “Little Demon” and “In My Room,” which are also sold out and slated to arrive any day.
Ocean hasn’t said whether the songs will eventually be placed on streaming platforms. For now, their an exclusive gift for his most engaged fans.
