New York native Princess Nokia (real name Destiny Frasqueri) has dropped a visual for “Gross,” a gorgeous visual that belies its title. In the Gianluigi Carella-directed visual, the action takes place in a circus where Nokia plays the role of a fearless and strikingly beautiful sword swallower. An artful statement on duality, in the visual Nokia endures torture as pain and pleasure.
The single is part of Nokia’s recent dual-album drop for projects Everything is Beautiful and Everything Sucks, both of which are streaming on all channels.
