New York-based Kith Women has linked with popular Japanese manga series Sailor Moon as part of the its 25th anniversary. Cozy hoodies are co-branded with Kith and Sailor Moon motifs highlighted by one featuring the five Sailor Guardians wearing popular Kith silhouettes.
For a little background on Sailor Moon, it was written and illustrated by Japanese writer Naoko Takeuchi, whose first effort was published in 1991. The story stars Usagi Tsukino, who uses a brooch to transform herself into Sailor Moon. She assembles a team of five Sailor Guardians as part of a quest to find to find a magical, legendary Silver Crystal. The animated version of the story ran from 1992-1997 and was revived in 2014 for for four more seasons. The franchise also includes multiple films and a TV special.
