Ambush Designer Yoon Ahn Provides Update On Timing Of Nike Dunk High Launch

Ambush designer Yoon Ahn today (May 18, 2020) provided an update on the Nike Dunk High kicks that were originally slated to drop this month. Due to COVID-19 the launch was delayed, but Ahn says the collaborative effort is still very much in the queue. That said, she didn’t provide any timing.

On Instagram, Ahn stated she was working on “two more new colorways,” and it’s not clear if she’s referencing the two colorways already previewed, plans for an additional two colors or a reset that includes two altogether new colors.

We first caught a glimpse of Ahn’s eye-catching design when it was shown in hot pink and black and white during Nike’s Future Sport Forum presentation held during New York Fashion Week in February 2020.

Ambush’s take on Nike’s Dunk High includes a raw finished, co-branded tongue but the most compelling design element is the used of a rubber Swoosh whose tip extends past the heel.

Check out Nike and Ambush’s preview colorways below.
