Trinidad & Tobago stunner and new mother Jevon King has pulled up with some new tea about her baby, Pace, with producer and DJ Diplo (real name: Thomas Pentz).
In an hour long Instagram interview with motherhood blogger Alexan Stewart, the 30-year-old King discussed her pregnancy, delivery (she had a Cesarean) and post partum experiencing. In the exchange, the 2014 Miss Universe of Trinidad & Tobago revealed the baby was conceived through in vitro fertilization often referred to as IVF.
After a year of trying with no luck, King was told by a fertility specialist she would have a hard time becoming pregnant due to blockages in her Fallopian tubes related to ongoing issues related endometriosis.
King added that the IVF refutes ugly accusations she had a “trap baby.” She noted, “No honey, It was all planned.” Hinting at some possible ugliness on her timeliness, while King’s Instagram feed had been public, since the announcement by Diplo, her feed is now private.
When asked if she is still dating Diplo, she would only say he’s a great father. “We are great. He’s doing a great job. He’s a great father,” she explained.
The 41-year-old Diplo announced the arrival of his third child on Mother’s Day, following the baby’s birth on March 20th. At the time Diplo said he hadn’t been able to visit with King and his son because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
