Coty-owned Kylie Cosmetics announces plans for a new, nautical-themed beauty collection dubbed Sailor Summer. In addition to an eye shadow palette, Lip Kit, High Gloss and Shadow Stick, the collection features the beauty label’s first crack at eyelashes.
Press announcing the effort reads, “Meet our first ever Lashes in ‘Shady.’ You will fall in love with the shape and feel of these. Our lashes are reusable, vegan and synthetic.”
As with all Kylie Cosmetics, the packaging is a big part of the story telling and for the Sailor Summer launch, items are covered with a cheery blue and purple anchor print while packaging features a ’50s-era pin-up-inspired illustration of Jenner spilling out of striped bikini top and sporting a sailor cap.
The 16-shade Sailor Summer palette is described as containing “gorgeous cool and warm mattes, shimmers and metallics with fun pops of navy blue and cherry red.”
